What I enjoy today...
I am liking this song today. Though, I don't know where he gets off telling someone they are too dramatic. Did he not pick out his own sweater?
Other nice daytimey things that are making this day bearable...
Grande Americanos. James has introduced me to heart palpitating beauty that is Grande Americanos. Only one step below a full out crack addiction, I am sure. I CAN DO ANYTHING! WHEE!
My best friend and the loveliness of Gmail chat. Seriously. As I sit here at my desk, contemplating the best way to dramatically yet gracefully quit a job that one hates, I am reminded that I am never alone when I have my best friend. And references? Who needs those. Or health insurance? Overrated.
The fact that I don't know how to keep plants alive, but for right now there is one that looks somewhat decent on my desk. Sure, the roots are drying up, the flowers are getting age spots, and it's screaming at me for some water. Orchid, the water fountain is too far away! If I remember to bring back some liquids from my lunch break, I will gladly offer you my remaining Jamba Juice.
Cubicles. Who am I kidding? I have never heard of anyone ever enjoying the hideous taupe-ish-ness that is cubeland. Although, there is a sky light right above me; the closest thing I will ever have to a window corner office. Life isn't all bad. This means I can tell when it's raining (today) and for two hours during the morningtime cannot see my computer screen. This is not the worst thing that could happen.
Lunch. Lunch breaks, that cubicle busting 45 minutes of my day where I can escape excel spreadsheets and the glare off my computer screen and be accutely aware of every second passing that brings me closer to returning to that exact spot only to start the countdown to 4:30. Life is truly cyclical.
Cupcakes. Last night, I went to the cupcake shop at Hilldale. The frosting to cake ratio was severly imbalanced. Nearly 3 to 1, which is the way I like it. Naturally, I ate it right before bed, which gave me crazy insane dreams all night. This morning, I felt like the leftover lettuce at the 24 hour buffet table. But the memory of that hot pink, sugar encrusted glory bomb has been getting me through the day. It's also helped knowing that Gigi's is still open after I get done with work. Which is in T-5 hours and 6 minutes.
Office Supply Day. It's like Christmastime, but way more bubble wrap. Thank you, Staples, for being so ridiculously Type A about your packaging and distribution methods. This will not only serve as my entertainment for the rest of the day, but will also be payback to the coworker who sat at my desk peeling her sunburned skin off onto it last week. Oh, snap! Also, my stapler was still broken when it arrived. Please send more bubble wrap next time.

I and Love and You
This song takes me back, yet forward at the same time.
I've been listening to it all day.
I've been listening to it all day.

Courtney Is Not In Korea, but Wishes She Was
So,
Really, I started this blog because my friend Katie is teaching in Korea, and I got tired of commenting on her blog and having to type in ridiculous word-like words for it to post them. But, I love to read and comment on her blog. I don't really have anything all that interesting to post in here, so I apologize if anyone stumbles across it and becomes bored to death.
